long version:
after friday's classes, come and drink cheap beers in a cozy little room overlooking the city. coopers and house reds are $3 each. there's live music too:
- danny griffith: he of subaudible hum fame, playing a solo acoustic set. man does a fine version of africa, that's for sure.
- automating: the man you may know as sasha. guitars and contact mics may be involved.
- martin vodstrcil: ably assisted by richard pilkington.
furthermore! there will be DJs!
- david short: the man you may know as film clip maker extraordinaire david short.
- and matt tierney: freshly back from the netherlands, where he claims not to have smoked an entire forest of amsterdammer weed. (cough).
it goes from 5pm til 8ish. entry is free.
it's an informal little bar the landscape students run on friday evenings. to get there: find building 8 (it's the one the library's in). take the lift to the 11th floor and there you are! hurrah! it was fun last time! it will be fun again!
